Song of the day: Pete Rock - Play Dis Only At Night
I have been on my instrumental steez lately. . . I started listening to Petestrumentals heavily again a few days ago, and I gotta say, I think I'm enjoying it more now than I did the first time around... and I loved it then. This whole album really speaks to me... which is ironic considering only a few of the songs have verses over them. In my mind, there is a way that you can tell a good beat maker from an amazing artist... a good beat maker makes a good beat. An amazing artist can make an instrumental say more than a song with a verse over it. Pete Rock is an artist. Respect. Enjoy!
